Taking over the cafe in September 2008, we went forward with transforming Ridgewood Coffee Company into the type of coffee house that New Jersey deserves. A 3rd wave coffee house. RCC has become a favorite hangout for coffee connoisseurs, poets, writers, music lovers or anyone who enjoys a great beverage. We offer free wireless Internet,  and have live entertainment on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.  RCC is a proud recipient of numerous awards and widespread recognition, including Best Coffee house in Bergen County, 2006-2007 (Ridgewood News) Best in Bergen 2007-2009 (201 Magazine). We are proud members of the Chamber of Commerce. And of course, we are extremely eco-friendly.

With hometown warmth, RCC cleverly bends small shop charm styles to create a comfortable spot that welcomes coffee lovers, shoppers and business people alike. Our visitors come for exceptional drinks and friendly surroundings. Come, relax, and stay a while at RCC.

As our children grew up we were eager to get involved in the community; We  had long admired the location of the shop and were delighted when it recently came up for sale. Rich and Joe enjoy fine wine who considers the appreciation of good coffee to be similar in nature. Joe takes pride in the premium beans roasted by the country's very best roasters and the brand new equipment now used to brew and craft all manner of coffee and tea drinks. Our Children, Lori and Joe, also work at the shop; both are trained baristas and Joe (a serious coffee hobbyist) takes pride in his "latte art" - designs made with the milk foam and espresso crema that sits on the top of a caffe latte. But, more than atmosphere, great music, and cozy comforts,
